What is El Pino?
Freelance illustrator living in Tokyo.
Majored in animation at Nihon University College of Art Department of Cinema . Studied character design and illustration production, etc. After graduating, worked as a designer at a production company and apparel brand .
Started working as an illustrator in 2012 .
Specializing in American comic cartoon style touches and vintage style touches ,
We are active in various companies and apparel jobs , both domestically and internationally.
Not only illustrations but also design is learned from animation, and it seems that well-balanced illustrations with movement and expressions come from here!

In 2012, his work was presented at the "Slipknot Illustration Contest" , a collaborative fan art competition between "Roadrunner Records" and "Pixiv" , to which many heavy metal bands from New York, USA belong, and won the Maggot Award . We are here!

In addition, I am in charge of the 2019 goods design for the melodic punk band "HEY-SMITH" , which performs many festivals and live performances every year!
Overseas, he is in charge of the flyer illustration for the 2018 two-man tour of the American ska core band "LESS THAN JAKE" and "Reel Big Fish" !
